Cooper-Perimeter Loop For Mountain Biking

Southwest of Tucson and south of Sierra Vista in the Coronado National Forest, the popular Cooper-Perimeter Loop is a 10 mile mountain bike ride on single and double track. There are several stream crossings and great mountain vistas while rolling between meadow and forest.

To reach the mountain biking trailhead from Sierra Vista, head south on US92 fro 8 miles. Turn west on Carr Canyon Road. Watch for trailhead.

Overall, Cooper-Perimeter Loop is the 84th most popular mountain bike trail of all 103 mountain biking rides in Arizona. Several of the better mountain bike trails are nearby Cooper-Perimeter Loop including Cochise Trail and Chiricahua Mountains.
