Northwest of Fort Collins in the Poudre Canyon area, the Crosier Mountain Trail (#931) is a 5 mile one-way route ascending 3,800 feet vertical from 6,400 feet. There are two other trailheads that access Crosier Mountain. The Rainbow Pit Trailhead is located a few miles past the Garden Gate Trailhead - there is a large gravel cut on the south side of the road, a trail sign sits just up the hill from a gate. The third trailhead is also located on County Road 43, by the little village of Glen Haven. The views from Crosier Mountain are beautiful.

To reach mountain biking at the main trailhead, follow SR34 west of Loveland to Drake. Turn right on CR43 for 2.2 miles to the small parking area on the south side of the road.

Overall, Crosier Mountain is the 51st most popular mountain bike trail of all 178 mountain biking rides in Colorado. Several of the better mountain bike trails are nearby Crosier Mountain including Killpecker Trail, Mount Margaret Trail, North Lone Pine Trail, Roaring Creek Trail, Youngs Gulch and Horsetooth MountainHewlett Gulch.
