North Lone Pine Trail For Mountain Biking

Northwest of Fort Collins in the Poudre Canyon area, the North Lone Pine Trail (#953) is a 4.4 mile one-way route ascending from 9,400 feet to 10,720 feet. This trail passes by North and Middle Bald Mountains and ends at the Elkhorn Creek road. The trail crosses a couple logging roads, watch for rock cairns or blazes on the trees to indicate the trail location.

To reach the mountain biking trailhead from Fort Collins, head north on US287 for 21 miles into Livermore. Turn left heading west on Redfeather Lakes Road for 28 miles. The trailhead is on the left.

Overall, North Lone Pine Trail is the 92nd most popular mountain bike trail of all 178 mountain biking rides in Colorado.
