Lone Mountain State Forest For Mountain Biking

The 16th most popular mountain bike trail in Tennessee.

West of Knoxville and north of Harriman, the 3,600 acre Lone Mountain State Forest has miles of trails open to mountain biking, hiking and horseback riders.

To reach the trailhead from Oliver Springs, head west on SR61. Turn north on US27 for 7 miles. Turn west on Clayton Howard Road to the Forest HQ.

Overall, Lone Mountain State Forest is the 16th most popular mountain bike trail of all 21 mountain biking rides in Tennessee.
