Northwest of Knoxville, the 2,300 acre City of Norris watershed area has plenty of mountain biking trails open to mountain bikers, hikers and horseback riders.

To reach the trailhead from US75, use Exit 122 East. Follow SR441 and park across from the Lenoir Museum. Follow Lower Clear Creek Road to access the trails.

Overall, Norris Watershed is the 8th most popular mountain bike trail of all 21 mountain biking rides in Tennessee. Several of the better mountain bike trails are nearby Norris Watershed including Black Mountain, Chuck Swan Wildlife Area, Lone Mountain State Forest, Panther Creek State Park, Concord Park and IC King Park.
