Lava Lake Loop For Mountain Biking

The 46th most popular mountain bike trail in Oregon.

West of Bend in the Deschutes National Forest, the Lava Lake Loop is a 75 mile multi-day single track loop. Themountain bike route begins 3 miles west of Bend and passes through grasslands, alpine lakes and volcanic peaks. It starts with a gentle climb through high-desert juniper and manzanita on a pumice trail. Then it transitions to a dirt trail in the pine forests around the lakes.
