Virginia City IMBA Epic Ride For Mountain Biking

The 14th most popular mountain bike trail in Nevada.

Southeast of Reno, the Virginia City IMBA Epic Ride is a 25 mile loop through the hilly terrain surrounding an old mining town. The trail begins at Miners Park. Be prepared for 2,000 feet of vertical over rocks and through gullies.

Note: As of April 2008, the Long Valley Road and Lousetown Road areas are private property. There is no public land and the local sheriffs office is instructed to cite mountain bike riders.

Overall, Virginia City IMBA Epic Ride is the 14th most popular mountain bike trail of all 16 mountain biking rides in Nevada. Several of the better mountain bike trails are nearby Virginia City IMBA Epic Ride including Bloody Shins Trail and Austin Mountain Bike Trail Network.
