North of Boston and west of Lynn, the 2,200 acre Lynn Woods Reservation is a local favorite desitination close to Boston. There are 30 miles of trails through pine forest along wetlands and ponds (including Walden Pond). Make sure to check out the new technical 3 mile route, Bow Ridge.
To reach the mountain biking trailhead from US1, use the Walnut Street Exit (Saugus). Head east on Walnut Street for 2 miles. Turn left on Pennybrook Road to the end.
