In the Cave Run area, the Buckskin Trail (#113) is 10 mile mountain bike route following the shoreline and connecting the Sheltowee Trace Trail to trails in the Pioneer Weapons Management Area (PWMA). The trailhead is near the Zilpo Campground.

Overall, Buckskin Trail is the 13th most popular mountain bike trail of all 15 mountain biking rides in Kentucky. Several of the better mountain bike trails are nearby Buckskin Trail including Cave Run Lake, Sheltowee Trace National Recreation Trail, Clear Creek Trail and Indian/Spaas Creek Trail.
