Little Spearfish / Rimrock Trails For Mountain Biking

Near Lead in the Black Hills National Forest, the Little Spearfish / Rimrock Trail System consists of two loops open to mountain biking. The Little Spearfish Trail Loop is 5.9 miles. The Rimrock Trail Loop is 6.3 miles (for the larger outer loop).

To reach the mountain biking trailhead from Spearfish, take Highway 14A to Savoy. Travel west on FSR 222 for approximately 4.7 miles to the trailhead.

Overall, Little Spearfish / Rimrock Trails is the 6th most popular mountain bike trail of all 10 mountain biking rides in South Dakota.
