Northeast of Syracuse near Cleveland and Constania in Oswego County, the Vanderkamp Center area has 1,100 acres of gently rolling land laced with a nice trail network. The trail pass through open fields and through woodlands. The trails are groomed and marked.
To reach the mountain biking trailhead from Syracuse on US81, head north to Exit 32 (Central Square). Turn right at the stop light onto SR49 and head east. Continue 13 miles to Martin Road. Turn left on Martin Road for 1.5 miles to Vanderkamp.
Overall, Vanderkamp Center is the 39th most popular mountain bike trail of all 48 mountain biking rides in New York. Several of the better mountain bike trails are nearby Vanderkamp Center including Baker Forest Loop, Highland Forest County Park, Labrador Twin Loops, Brookfield Trail System and Green Lakes State Park.
