Near West Fork, the Devils Den State Park is nestled deep in a picturesque Ozark valley where you can explore caves, crevices and bluff overlooks. The mountain stream forms a peaceful 8-acre lake before cascading over a native stone dam.
The Devils Den State Park has 20 miles of trails. Yellow Horse Trail is an easy 5 mile route. The Red Trail (aka Holt Ridge Trail) is 7 miles and can be steep. The Green Trail (aka Vista Point) is 8 miles, runs some ledges and has a gorgeous view of the whole valley.
To reach the mountain biking trailhead from US540, use Exit #53. Follow West Fork Highway (SR170) 17 miles to the park.
