The Matthews/Winters Park is an open-space in Jefferson County that has a five mile bike loop combining both the Red Rocks Trail (2.8 mi) and the Dakota Ridge Trail (2.2 mi). The total vertical climbing is about 1,700 feet.

To reach the mountain biking trailhead from Denver, head west on US70 to the US40 Exit. Head south on SR26 briefly to the trailhead.
