Switchback Trail For Mountain Biking

The 66th most popular mountain bike trail in Pennsylvania.

West of Jim Thorpe, the Switchback Trail is an 18 mile mountain bike route on an old railroad near Mauch Chunk Lake. The old railway climbs from Lehigh Canal to Summit Hill (1000 feet). For a nice, technical descent, try the washed out Wagon Road.

Overall, Switchback Trail is the 66th most popular mountain bike trail of all 75 mountain biking rides in Pennsylvania.
