West of Salina and north of Wilson on Wilson Lake, the 945 acre Wilson State Park has a mountain bike trail network, which includes the 13 mile Switchblade Grass Bike Trail. The winding trails roll through open prairie grass meadows.
To reach the trailhead from US 70, use Exit 206. Head north on SR232 for 5.25 miles. Turn left heading west on Shoreline Road over the bridge for 1.4 miles. Turn right into the park for 1.1 miles. Turn left into the Switchgrass trailhead parking area.
