Heading north from Cortina, the 11km Cortina - Pian de Ra Spines - Cadinmountain bike route begins in the centre of Cortina from Hotel Cornelio, near the crossroads for Passo Tre Croci, after the bus station. It winds alng the cycling track (n.208), which once was the site of the railway Cortina Dobbiaco. The small road is almost flat and paved until the outskirts of the town. There it becomes a dirt road which flanks Mount Pomagagnon under Punta Fiames.
Shortly after the Botestagno bridge, turn left climbing slightly into the woods to reach the main road SS51 near the red roadmans house. After descending left for a few bends in the road, enter the Natural Park of Ampezzo Dolomites and keep on descending left towards the river Boite (path n.10 and then path n.417).
After crossing the bridge, themountain bike route continues through the woods on Pian de Ra Spines, along a dirt path that climbs for about 200m shortly before Camping Olympia, and then it climbs towards Cadin.
From here, continue on an easy downhill to Cortina.
