Near Riverside in the Trabuco Ranger District, the Indian Truck Trail is a 7 mile route on an old fire road heading up the eastern slopes of the Santa Ana Mountains. It is approximately 7 miles long and gains about 3000 ft of altitude. The trail ends at the intersection of the Main Divide Truck Trail which runs along the ridge of the entire Santa Ana Mountains. Many different loops and out and back mountain bike rides can be ridden using the trails in this area.
To reach the mountain biking trailhead from Los Angeles and Orange County take Hwy I-15 south. After passing Hwy 91 and Corona, look for the Indian Truck Trail Exit. Take a right off of the exit ramp and park in the dirt parking lot which will be on your right.
To reach the mountain biking trailhead from San Diego, take I-15 north trough Temecula and past the Ortega Hwy. Take the Indian Truck Trail Exit and turn left off the exit ramp. After going under the freeway, look for the dirt parking lot on your right and park here.
