Tumalo Trails For Mountain Biking

West of Bend in the Deschutes National Forest, the Tumalo Trails is a trail network open to mountain biking. One of the central trails is the Tumalo Mountain Trail (#38), which is a 1.5 mile route up to the summit.
To reach the trailhead from Bend, head west on Franklin Street and follow to Galveston Street. Turn right heading west on Galveston Street crossing the river. Continue on Galveston Street to the round-about at NW14th Street. Head south on NW14th Street (aka CR372 and FS46) for 19.8 miles. The trailhead parking is at the Dutchman Flat SnoPark on the right.
