Coastal Trail - Last Chance For Mountain Biking

The 110th most popular mountain bike trail in California.

South of Klamath and north of Orick, the 11.5 mile Lost Man Creek Trail (aka Holter Ridge Trail) is an old logging road switching back along th eastern boundary through 300 foot tall redwoods over 1000 years old. It has a moderately steep climb. It can be combined with Bald Hills Road and a stretch of US101 for a 20.5 mile loop.

To reach the mountain biking trailhead from the town of Orick, go north on US 101 for 3.5 miles. Turn right on Lost Man Creek Road and go about 1 mile to the trailhead.

Overall, Coastal Trail - Last Chance is the 110th most popular mountain bike trail of all 132 mountain biking rides in California.
