The Santiago del Teide Loop is a 23km trek. It is a scenic mountain bike ride on double track with some lose and rocky surfaces. This mountain bike ride again starts with a fairly tough road climb for about 4km. The track then turns into double track with some very lose sections of sand, gravel and small rocks. After continuing to climb we skirt around the edge of a large expanse of black lava field before entering the pine forest when we loop around before returning the way that we came. The return leg offers some faily quick descents along the loose tracks and demand good concentration to maintain your line.
Overall, Santiago del Teide Loop is the 18th most popular mountain bike trail of all 20 mountain biking rides in Spain.
