The Camino Aldea Blanca route is a 12km mountain bike trek. It is a short blast along one of the ancient caminos (old path or road) from the town of San Miguel down to the village of Aldea Blanca. the route starts on the road with a climb from just above the TF-1 along the TF65 to San Miguel, this is a busy road, but has a good sized shoulder giving reasonable separation from the traffic. From here we turn off onto small local roads for a few minutes before starting the frenetic technical descent back down the hill to Aldea Blanca, the trail is mostly on rocky single track, mostly paved almost like very rough cobble stones, but with sections of lava and large drops where the original path has disappeared. A full suspension bike is necessary for this route.
Overall, Camino Aldea Blanca is the 14th most popular mountain bike trail of all 20 mountain biking rides in Spain.
