Graeagle Trails For Mountain Biking

West of Chico and northeast of Downieville, the Graeagle area has a network of 40 miles of mountain bike singletrack trails. These routes include the Mount Elwell Peak Trail (a narrow 9 mile singletrack down 3,500 feet from the summit), the Deer Lake OHV Trail and the Jamison Creek Trail (a 4.8 mile descent down 2,200 feet along a narrow spine).

Overall, Graeagle Trails is the 119th most popular mountain bike trail of all 132 mountain biking rides in California. Several of the better mountain bike trails are nearby Graeagle Trails including Downieville Downhill, Bullards Bar Loop Trail, South Yuba Loop, North Yuba Trail, Dixie Mountain Route and Homer Lake RideSummit / Bucks Creek Loop Trail.
