Stone Mountain Echo For Mountain Biking

Just south of State College in north-central Pennsylvania, the Stone Mountain Echo route is a popular mountain bike ride.

The terrain is mostly hilly but vary enough in technical difficulty that you can choose any level. Both single and double tracks are found throughout. Take Rout 655 toward Belleville then right onto Route 305 to Greenwood Furnace State Park. You can park in the Bureau of Forestry parking area on Broad Mountain Road. From Route 22, take Route 305 to Greenwood.

Overall, Stone Mountain Echo is the 73rd most popular mountain bike trail of all 75 mountain biking rides in Pennsylvania. Several of the better mountain bike trails are nearby Stone Mountain Echo including Long Mountain Trail, Roth Rock Ride (R3), Triester Mountain Trail and Seven Mountains.
