Southwest of Marquette, the South Trails are a popular mountain biking destination. There are four loops starting from the primary trailhead. The four loops are: Carp River Loop (yellow blaze), Morgan Creek Loop (gree blaze), Mount Marquette Loop (blue blaze) and Pioneer Loop (red blaze). Each loop is about 5 miles long. The Mount Marquette Loop is by far the most popular with plenty of singletrack and rocky stairs.
