Northeast of Vancouver and west of Pemberton, the Lost Lake Trail System is an 18 mile network of mountain bike trails ranging from doubletrack to singletrack. There are a few roots, rocks and ladder bridges. The trail system gently rolls through misty pine forests and passes both Lost Lake and Green Lake.
There are several trailheads including the Nicklaus North Clubhouse skier parking (Mons Ticket Booth) off Nicklaus North Blvd, the MeadowPark SportsCentre off Highway 99, and the main skier parking area Lot 4A (Lost Lake Ticket Booth) located at the Blackcomb base off Lorimer Road.
To reach the ski area by car from Vancouver, plan on at least a 3 hour drive from Vancouver. Head north out of Vancouver on Highway 1 (aka Highway 99). Continue following Highway 99 past Horseshoe Bay heading east.
Overall, Lost Lake Trail System is the 45th most popular mountain bike trail of all 46 mountain biking rides in British Columbia. Several of the better mountain bike trails are nearby Lost Lake Trail System including Whistler Bike Park, Sea-To-Sky Trail, River Runs Through It, Rebagliati Park and Comfortably Numb Trail.
