Southwest of Albany near Roxbury, the Plattekill Mountain Bike Park has 45 trails totalling 60 miles open to mountain biking. The lifts provide access to 1,100 feet of vertical descent.

To reach the snowboarding at Plattekill Mountain Bike Park from NYC, follow the New York State Thruway (Interstate 87) North to exit 19, Kingston. Rt. 28 West towards Pine Hill approximately 40 minutes to the Town of Arkville. Turn Right at Ski Plattekill billboard just before the railroad crossing. Follow to the end. Turn Right onto SR30 North. Go approximately 7 miles and look for sign to turn left onto Cold Spring Road, follow signs to ski center - 3 miles off SR30.

Note: Ski Plattekill has a limited open schedule, so make sure to call first before heading out.

Overall, Plattekill Mountain Bike Park is the 4th most popular mountain bike trail of all 48 mountain biking rides in New York.
