Southwest of Munich, the TransAlp mountain bike route from Garmish-Partenkirchen to Ehrwald, Austria, is a 20km ride. The route has 580m of elevation gain ridden north and 820m of elevation gain ridden south. This TransAlp route mainly follows a wide doubletrack with a crushed limestone surface. There are a couple singletrack section options.
