Mountain View Trail For Mountain Biking

The 162nd most popular mountain bike trail in Colorado.

East of Steamboat Springs, the Mountain View Trail starts from the summit of Mount Werner above the Steamboat Mountain ski area. The Mountain View Trail (#1032) rolls from near the summit east and then north to the Fish Creek Trail. The Fish Creek Trail can be followed westward through a highly technical section to the Fish Creek trailhead where a paved road rolls down to Steamboat Springs.

To reach the summit, take the gondola to the Thunderhead Peak and then start riding up the access road to the Storm Peak summit. Just before the last pitch to the summit, the trail starts at an intersection and heads east.

Overall, Mountain View Trail is the 162nd most popular mountain bike trail of all 175 mountain biking rides in Colorado.
