Southwest of Montrose, the Clear Creek Loop is a 11 mile loop with roughly 1,400 feet of climbing. The route is mainly singletrack.

To reach the mountain biking trailhead for the Clear Creek Loop from Montrose, head west on Dave Wood Road for 25 miles. Turn right on Divide Road for a couple miles. Look for the sign on the left hand side for the Clear Creek Trail. Start by riding west on Divide Road for a couple miles and then turn left on the Clear Creek Trail.
