North of San Francisco and north of Fairfax, there is an extensive network of fire roads and singletrack interconnecting the Terra Linda / Sleepy Hollow Preserve to the Loma Alta Preserve via the 680 Trail. This popular 5 mile route is generally ridden from east to west and is mostly exposed to southern vistas. There are numerous rolling sections with steep climbs.

While you can finish on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard near Brown Bridge to roll back to Fairfax, you can cross the road to use the White Hill Trail to access the Tamarancho trail system.
