Northwest of Panama City and north of Las Cumbres, the Summit Park mountain biking route is a challenging 8.8 mile out-and-back ride. Also known as the Plantations, the rolling climb has about 1,200 feet of climbing in each direction.

The Summit Park mountain bike ride is located to the northwest of Panama City in the Parque Nacional Somberania. It starts off the Av Omar Torrijos Herrera and heads up to the northeast for 4.4 miles where most riders turn around. It is possible to continue riding further into the Parque Nacional.
