Spray River / Goat Creek For Mountain Biking

The 4th most popular mountain bike trail in Alberta.

Just south of Banff, this popular mountain bike ride follows doubletrack deep into the backcountry for 19 km up along the ramparts of Mount Rundle to the trailend on Smith-Dorrien Trail above Canmore. The trail starts from the Banff Springs Hotel and can be combined with the Rundle Riverside Trail for a 48 km loop.

Overall, Spray River / Goat Creek is the 4th most popular mountain bike trail of all 23 mountain biking rides in Alberta. Several of the better mountain bike trails are nearby Spray River / Goat Creek including Alexandra River, Moraine Lake, Lake Minnewanka, Redearth Creek, Rundle Riverside and PipestoneRoss Lake.
