Southwest of Whistler, the Black Tusk Trail begins near Function Junction and runs up to Loggers Lake and beyond to an access road. The route up is 4,200 feet vertical over 16 km. The route back is a wild mountain bike ride down. Function Junction is 6 km south of Whistler.

Overall, Black Tusk Trail is the 1st most popular mountain bike trail of all 46 mountain biking rides in British Columbia.
