The 007 trail (accessed from the old CPR railgrade) winds up Baldy Mountain to meet with the Smugglers trail. The Smugglers mountain bikes down along the Malde Creek Forestry Road and eventually follows the Southbelt Road into Rossland for a 22km loop.

Overall, Smugglers / 007 is the 15th most popular mountain bike trail of all 46 mountain biking rides in British Columbia. Several of the better mountain bike trails are nearby Smugglers / 007 including Black Jack Nordic Trail System, Rubberhead Trail, Coyote Swamp, Drakes / Deer Park Loop, Kootenay-Columbia / Monte Cristo and Railgrade / Wagon Road LoopCascade / Midnight Loop.
