Durham Forest For Mountain Biking

Northeast of Toronto and south of Uxbridge, the 4,000 acre Durham Forest has 25 km of trails on single and double track through the rolling hills of Oak Ridges Moraine. To reach mountain biking at the trailhead, follow Route 401east to Brock Road in Pickering. Proceed north on Brock Road to Durham Road 21 at Coppins Corners. Head west on Durham Road 21 for 5 km to Sideline #4. Go south on Sideline #4 for 1 km and the trailhead parking is on the left.

Overall, Durham Forest is the 3rd most popular mountain bike trail of all 22 mountain biking rides in Ontario. Several of the better mountain bike trails are nearby Durham Forest including Etobicoke Creek Trails, Bruce Trail, Ganaraska Forest and Dundas Valley Conservation Area.
