Hardwood Hills For Mountain Biking

The 13th most popular mountain bike trail in Ontario.

Close to Barrie, the Hardwood Hills have become a mecca for local mountain bike riders with 80 km of trails in 6 trail systems and is a must mountain bike ride when visiting Ontario. The routes are hardpack with some sand, roots and rocks. There is a $7 user fee.

To reach the trailhead, follow Route 400 north to exit 111. Head east on Doran Road through Edgar. Continue east another 5 km and the entrance is on the left side of the road.

Overall, Hardwood Hills is the 13th most popular mountain bike trail of all 22 mountain biking rides in Ontario.
