South of Dublin and west of Bray, the Wicklow Way tracks the ridgeline of the rugged Wicklow Mountains. These rolling hills are semi-forested with miles of windswept and rocky moorland riding. A good base for exploration is the small rural village of Enniskerry, 13 miles south of Dublin and 3 miles west of Bray. The Wicklow Mountains are just west of town. Another good mountain bike singletrack is hidden from view just behind the Powercourt Waterfall.
Overall, Wicklow Mountains is the 2nd most popular mountain bike trail of all 14 mountain biking rides in Ireland.
