Barranco Ferrer Trails For Mountain Biking

The 5th most popular mountain bike trail in Spain.

Barranco Ferrer is shrouded within the Alpujarran foothills of Granada, just 7km from the Mediterranean coast. Trails leave from Barranco Ferrer on old mule tracks through pine and cork forests crossing streams and river beds. The nearby Veleta Peak (3,470 m) is a particular challenge.

Note: In Spain, mountain biking is known as Bici Todo Terrano (BTT) and the forest tracks open to BTT are known as pistas forestales.

Overall, Barranco Ferrer Trails is the 5th most popular mountain bike trail of all 20 mountain biking rides in Spain.
