The Isle of Wight is located off the southern coastline of England and supports over 250 miles of offroad routes. The West Wight Trail is a 24 mile mountain bike ride over chalk downland which is slippery when wet.
The best place to park is near the trailhead in Freshwater Cliffs at the far western end of Isle of Wight (via A3054 and then A3055). To get to the island, use the ferries from Portsmouth of the A3(M).
Overall, West Wight Trail is the 68th most popular mountain bike trail of all 93 mountain biking rides in UK.
