Rudland Rigg For Mountain Biking

The 36th most popular mountain bike trail in UK.

A ten mile track runs the ridges along Rudland Rigg from The Row (near Gillamoor) to Bank Foot (near Ingleby Greenhow). This is an old section of Westside Road and can be combined with paved roads to form a 20 mile loop.

To reach mountain biking at the trailhead, follow A19 to Thirsk. Head east on A170 to Kirkbymoorside. Turn north towards Gillamoor on unmarked road. Follow sign for Hutton-le-Hole to Lowna car park.

Overall, Rudland Rigg is the 36th most popular mountain bike trail of all 93 mountain biking rides in UK.
