Southeast of Bristol and southwest of Warminister, theres an easy 20 km loop through the gently rolling farm lands of the open chalk hills starting from Kilmington. To reach mountain biking at the trailhead, follow the M4 to Junction 17. Kilmington is located on B3092.

Beginning from the Red Lion Pub in Kilmington, head northeast on back lanes and bridle tracks to Monkton Deverill (see OS map). Then turn right heading south to A303. Next, proceed due west through Mere and back into Kilmington.

Overall, White Sheet Hill is the 61st most popular mountain bike trail of all 93 mountain biking rides in UK.
