Stockdale Lane For Mountain Biking

The 18th most popular mountain bike trail in UK.

Northwest of Leeds near Malham, the 23km Stockdale Lane route runs through moorland and green fields. The Dales are hilly, barren and hauntingly beautiful. Its big sky country and uncrowded, too. This route combines country lanes (tarmac) and packed grassy trails.

The trailhead is located northwest of Leeds and northwest of Skipton. The mountain bike ride starts from the car park at the Info Centre just south of Malham. The loop runs counterclockwise northwest of Malham towards Malham Tarn over to Settle, and then directly east back to Malham.

Overall, Stockdale Lane is the 18th most popular mountain bike trail of all 93 mountain biking rides in UK.
