Bartram Trail For Mountain Biking
The 5th most popular mountain bike trail in Alabama.

Northeast of Tuskegee in the Tuskegee National Forest, a 8.6 mile stretch of the Bartram National Recreation Trail passes through the Tuskegee National Forest. This scenic section of the Bartram National Recreation Trail wanders for 8.6 miles through hardwood ravines and along pine ridges.
There are several mountain biking trailheads that provide acces to this trail. The northern terminus can be accessed from a trailhead located on US29 just south of Macon County Road #54. The southern terminus can be accessed from a trailhead located off US29 on Wire Road near the intersection of Forest Road #913.
Note: This trail is not open to horseback riding.
