In the Kaibab National Forest, the mountain bike ride along forest service road FS427 is a 15 mile out & back through old-growth ponderosa pine forest along a grassy lane with lots of good camping. From Jacob Lake, FS67 south 0.25 mi. -> FS461 west 8 mi. -> FS462 west -> FS422 south -> FS447 west 4 mi. -> FS427 -> park at intersection.
