Apache Maid Trail For Mountain Biking

Acsending from Wet Beaver Creek, the 13 mile Apache Maid Trail (#15) passes through red rock canyons on the way up to Apache Mountain lookout at FS620 & FS229. This is a 3,000 feet climb.

To reach the mountain biking trailhead from Flagstaff, head south on US17 for 40 miles. Exit east onto SR179 for 1.5 miles to the Beaver Creek Ranger Station. Turn north for 0.25 miles to the parking lot.

Overall, Apache Maid Trail is the 23rd most popular mountain bike trail of all 103 mountain biking rides in Arizona.
