To reach mountain biking at the nearest trailhead from Fort Bragg, head south on US1 to SR20. Turn left heading east on SR20 for 2.3 miles to Gravel Pit Road. Turn right heading south on Gravel Pit Road for 0.1 miles to Gate 400. Note, there is no trailhead parking.
Overall, Jackson State Forest is the 59th most popular mountain bike trail of all 138 mountain biking rides in California.
