Just west of Truckee, The Old Emigrant Trail leads to Donner Peak at 8000. This 18.5 mile mountain bike route combines jeep roads and singletrack through scenic high country. The trailhead is located west of Truckee off US80 in Donner Memorial State Park.

Overall, Old Emigrant Trail is the 54th most popular mountain bike trail of all 132 mountain biking rides in California.
