South Yuba Trail For Mountain Biking

The 46th most popular mountain bike trail in California.

Northeast of Nevada City, the South Yuba Trail is a 13 mile stretch of pristine mountain biking trail. This rolling trail is mildly technical bordering above the Yuba River on a cliff with lots of swimming holes and skinny dippers. It is open to hikers, mountain bikers and horseback riders.

To reach the eastern trailhead from Nevada City, follow SR20 east for 13 miles toward Truckee. Turn at Washington Road and proceed for six miles. After crossing the Yuba, follow Relief Road toward Pooremans Creek and park at trailhead.

Overall, South Yuba Trail is the 46th most popular mountain bike trail of all 132 mountain biking rides in California.
