Colorado Trail - Lost Canyon Loop For Mountain Biking

Northeast of Gunnison, the 24 mile Lost Canyon Loop climbs the Colorado Trail from town traversing an undulating ridge and climbing a steep rocky section to a long mesa. The flat mesa provide good riding up into aspen groves. Upon reaching the Lost Canyon road (BLM 3110), follow it back into town.

The loop begins from behind the Western State College campus.

Overall, Colorado Trail - Lost Canyon Loop is the 37th most popular mountain bike trail of all 178 mountain biking rides in Colorado.
