South of Frisco, the Miners Creek Trail is a 6 mile out and back route past beaver ponds and a meandering creek into the Ten Mile Range. To reach the mountain biking trailhead from Frisco, head south on SR9 and turn right onto FS1004. Take a right into the Miners Creek parking area. Continue riding up the road over the bike path. Stay on the obvious route while climbing through shady pine forest. Where the route goes vertical and rocky, return by the same route.

When done, think about renting a boat at the Frisco Marina (888) 780-4970.

Overall, Miners Creek Trail is the 38th most popular mountain bike trail of all 178 mountain biking rides in Colorado. Several of the better mountain bike trails are nearby Miners Creek Trail including Colorado Trail - Searle / Kokomo Pass, Colorado Trail - Swan River Valley, Mayflower Gulch, Montezuma Loop Trail, Peru Creek and Tiger RoadWilliams Peak.
